The town of Bude is close by, perfect for sandy days on the beach, surfing for experts and beginners (we can recommend surf schools) and the amazing Bude sea pool.
North Devon Wakepark and Aquapark
Fun for all the family and abilities, whether you're bouncing on the aqua park or learning to master wakeboarding. Great cafe too for those who prefer to watch.
Dartmoor
The wonder of Dartmoor, great for horse riding, trekking, picnicking, wild swimming, tree climbing and more.
Clovelly
It's called the most instagrammable village in England and it's clear to see why. Walk down and if little legs are tired you can get a land rover back up!
Cycling
There are great local cycle routes including the Tamar Trail or Camel Valley Trail just a short drive away, hire cycles and follow the river to the coast.
The Camel Trail handily finishes by Rick Stein's Padstow Harbour fish and chip shop - a great reward.
